There are now Ledgers, Ledger Sets, Primary and Secondary Ledgers, and the Accounting Setup Manager. When upgrading, decisions need to be made on how the old Sets of Books and Organizations are migrated. On Payables, the Supplier Table is no longer in the system and has been replaced with the Party Table and structure. Also, Payment Batches is retired and Oracle Payments is its replacement. On Receivables, the use of Accounts under Customers (Parties) is fully implemented. For all Financials, Banks and Bank Accounts are now centralized and become Parties in the TCA structure. This session will discuss all of these and other new features and functions with Release 12 Oracle Financials. |
